ALBERTO BETTINI OF ‘TRATTORIA AMERIGO DAL 1934’ (EMILIA ROMAGNA)
Our second guest for the 2019 Chef Series is Alberto Bettini. His Trattoria Amerigo dal1934, in Savigno in the beautiful area known as Valsamoggia*, has been a favourite of customers and food guides alike, including a Michelin star since 1998.
The simple cuisine, and the products from the courtyard, the hen house, the vegetable patch, the fields and woods are the same today as they were back in the early days. 85 years later, along with the traditional recipes, they also celebrate the territory and the seasonality of produce with a touch of creativity and more innovative recipes, that however remain simple and soulful.
It is a rare opportunity to have Alberto and his team in London, taking over our kitchen for two exclusive evenings with a 5 course set menu. Local wines will be available to match the food.
Tickets are £45 for the set menu, drinks and service not included.
