Every time we travel across Italy we find inspirations, products, dishes we love. Behind each of them are always beautiful, passionate people. And most of the time locations play a fundamental part in making our experiences so special.
SABINA AND IVAN OF VILLA PIZZINI (MOTTARONE, PIEMONTE)
To launch the series of events we have invited Sabina Villaraggia and Ivan Fiorilla of Villa Pizzini on the Mottarone mountain between lake Orta and lake Maggiore in Piemonte, where they run the restaurant and 5 rooms with the most spectacular view. In only four years they have gained recognition by the most important Italian food guides, and the Guardian included them in a special feature this year.
Chef Sabina also has a special place in our heart as she was part of the Sfogline team in the early days of Burro e Salvia.
Her passion for fresh pasta is still visible on the menu she creates at Villa Pizzini, and she will bring three of her recipes to London.
Villa Pizzini will take over on the following days with 3 set menus (2 courses available lunch only, 3 and 4 courses for dinner). Wines from the area will be available to match the food.
